A huge free medical camp was organized at Sarai Pitha, Handia, Prayagraj

A huge free medical camp was organized at Saraipitha today. This medical camp was jointly organized by *Rotaract Motilal Nehru Medical College, Rotaract Club of Handia, Rotary Club of Allahabad Elite*,BL Memorial Hospital and Shri Ramnath Honda, Shukla Sari Center Handia, held under the auspices. In this camp, hundreds of patients took advantage of the free medical camp. In this camp, patients of rural areas were examined by Ophthalmologist, Orthopedic and Joint Specialist, General Pathologist, Pediatrician and Dentist and free medicines were also distributed. In this camp free eye test, sugar BP test and pathology related blood tests were done free of cost. Suryabhan Kushwaha, Managing Director of BL Memorial Hospital Handia, Dr. Kranti Tiwari and Satyam Shukla were the convenor of this program. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Kranti Tiwari said that there is still a lack of basic medical facilities in the rural areas and through such free camps, the rural people can be greatly benefited. n view of all this, the Ayushman Bharat scheme has also been started by the Government of India. Free consultation was also given by the doctors of Swarooprani Nehru Hospital in this camp. In which Dr. Rakesh Singh, Dr. Amit Singh, Dr. Vivek Yadav, Dr. Saurabh Maurya, Dr. Arun Pal, Dr. Ankur Singh, Dr. Mukesh Verma, Dr. Vivek Kant Maurya etc. were present. Regional people also contributed. In which Kamta Prasad Kushwaha, Kamal Bhan, Ritesh Kushwaha, Mithlesh Sharma, Kishan Maurya, Ratnakar Gupta, Dilip Kumar Maurya etc. made major contributions. Without whom this camp would not have been possible. Simultaneously, milk, bananas and biscuits were distributed to women on the occasion of International Women's Day by Rotarian Muniraj Patel (Chairman Rotary Allahabad Elite) today and also gave messages for their empowerment.

Organized a huge health camp for prisoners at Central Jail Naini Prayagraj

Today, on 08 February, a huge health camp was organized for the prisoners in Central Jail Naini Prayagraj by Rotaract Motilal Nehru Medical College and Rotary Allahabad Elite. Free medicines, free check-up and free consultation were given in the camp.

Dentist Dr. Prateek Pandey and his team examined the teeth. On behalf of Rotary, Mr. Muniraj, Mr. Belraj, Dr. Rishi Sahai, Arvind ji and other Rotarians were present, who made their important contribution in making this camp a success. More than 1500 prisoners were benefited from this camp, in which everyone was examined and medicines were given according to their health.

शिविर में डॉ मोहित, डॉ ललित, डॉ मेहरबान, डॉ अभिषेक, डॉ विजय, डॉ धीरेन्द्र, डॉ देवेन्द्र, डॉ जितेन्द्र, डॉ श्रीराम, डॉ अंशु एवम् अन्य एमबीबीएस के छात्र एवम् छात्राएं मौजूद रहे तथा इनके द्वारा कैदियों को उचित सलाह दिया गया ।

गंभीर मरीजों को स्वरूप रानी हॉस्पिटल में दिखाने के लिए जेलर से आग्रह भी किया गया है।

जेल में ज्यादातर चर्म रोग से प्रभावित लोग मिले और साथ कमजोरी की भी सिकायते मिली।

स्त्री रोग वशेषज्ञ डॉ रमा मिश्रा एवम् डॉ अल्कादास स्त्रियों को मासिक बीमारियों का इलाज एवम् इससे बचने के लिए उन्हें जागरूक किया।

Organized by Rotaract Club of MLNMC Prayagraj with faculty of MLN Medical College Prayagraj. The main motto of this camp is screening of children for Eye problems, Dental problems, Skin problems, underweight children etc. Today in camp on an average 25% children's have eyesight problems. Supplement for better eye health provided at the camp by Rotaractor MLNMC such as Vitamin A & D and eye drops (artificial tears).

So many cases of dental problems such as most common dental cavities seen and tell them how to prevent these problem by proper oral hygiene. The strength of each school from nursery to class 8th student around 250.

Women health awareness program and free sanitary napkin distribution in Prayagraj

On 5th December 2019, with our NCC unit (1 up med coy NCC) and Rotary Allahabad ellite, an awareness program on filaria and about use of sanitary napkin was organized. After that, 850 packets of sanitary napkins distributed by #Rotaract_MLNMC and NCC cadets of #MLNMC in Dharahriya slum area and overall 10 team work for distribution of sanitary napkins and total 7200 of packets were distributed and door to door awareness was also provided.

In this event Rotaract Allahabad east, #FM_tadka, lions club etc were also participated.
