Today, on 28th July, under the Nari Suraksha Pad Bank run by Humanity India Trust, five new villages were identified and girls and women were prepared for the pad bank for 6 months. Along with this, pad banks were started in villages Saraipith, Shankarpur, Kathara, Handia.
Under this campaign, at least 50 women and adolescent girls were identified in each village and made aware about information related to menstruation, promotion of use of sanitary pads, methods of its use, methods of disposing of sanitary pads and misconceptions related to sanitary pads.Pradeep Kumar, Ratnakar Gupta, Udaybhan, Shubham Kushwaha, Ruchi, Ruby and Deepti etc. made significant contributions in today’s program.
