On 16th September, on the occasion of World Patient Safety Day (17th September), a free health camp and voluntary blood donation camp was organized at Shri Ramnath Honda Saraipith Handia Prayagraj under the joint aegis of Humanity India Trust and Ganga Memorial Hospital.
In this camp, facilities like free medicines, free consultation, free tests and spectacles etc. were provided. Youths from rural areas participated enthusiastically in blood donation. Through the camps organised by Humanity India Trust, hidden diseases or unknown diseases among the villagers can be detected.
People suffering from diseases like sugar, BP, cataract, eye problems, menstrual problems etc. were given proper advice and those who needed to visit big hospitals were explained. Today about 700 patients have benefited, out of which about 300 people's eyes were examined and 200 people were given glasses.
This camp was presided over by Dr. Surya Bhan Kushwaha (Founder and President Humanity India Trust) and Dr. Pankaj Kushwaha (Director Ganga Memorial Hospital, Sarai Inayat). Adv. Pradeep Kumar Ji had special cooperation in publicity.
